Moisturizing allows moisture to penetrate the deeper layers of the skin. This eliminates the appearance of chapped skin by working from the inside out.
When you moisturize you reduce the look of pores and dark spots. You also tone the skin and improve its texture. This helps to mask imperfections and keep you looking fresh-faced throughout the day.
When should you moisturize your face?
Preferably, you would want to do this at night after you've cleansed your face. This is because cleansers tend to remove essential moisture from the skin, making your face feel tight and scaly but, moisturizing counteracts these sensations.
When you moisturize before bed you'll wake up to softer, supple and hydrated skin. Adding moisture to your morning routine will also maintain your moisture balance all day until you cleanse again at night.

My favorite combo is albolene and rosehip oil. Makes my skin so often and hydrated. Rosehip is really nourishing and albolene is full of emollients.
